Children should make sure they have a reading book in school, This can be a book from home or one from the class library. They should also be reading regularly at home. We have shared an online reading log through Google Classroom for children to keep track of their reading. They will receive Dojo points when they have recorded reading 5 times.

As well as daily reading at home, children are expected to play TTRS and Spelling Shed regularly to support their times tables and spelling skills. We will also be setting maths and English homework weekly via Google Classroom. This is likely to be on MyMAths and Education City. Your child will be given a login sheet so that they can access these online resources.

Our PE day is Tuesday. Children should come to school in their PE kit: white Tshirt, black tracksuit bottoms or shorts and a black Ardley Hill jumper. Please ensure they are also wearing suitable footwear. The lessons will be outside on the field as often as possible so you may want to send your child into school with a change of footwear on days when it might be wet/muddy.
